Welcome to Kimberly Klicks!

My name is Kimberly Gouveia and I am a photographer based in Houston, Texas. My photography career started in High School when I took a Film Photography class and learned how to develop photos in the dark room (mixing chemicals, rinsing, hanging to dry, etc.). After that, I took a Digital Photography class and got my first “big girl” camera. I had lots of different types of assignments and learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom pretty seriously, too. The more I learned, the more my love of photos and photography grew. Throughout the years, I have taken all different types of photos, including graduation photos, couple’s photos, family photos, engagement photos, photos of animals or scenery, and many more. I always did this on the side as a hobby, but now I want to turn it into something more. Some people love art, others painting, poetry, writing, and many other things, but my hobby and love language is photography. It always has been. I love how photos can capture the feelings and emotions of a single moment. Just one CLICK is all it takes! And that moment stands still in time forever. With a photo, no matter what happens, we can always look back and remember those moments like they were yesterday. That is my goal here: to capture those beautiful moments for my new acquaintances, friends, family, and loved ones and freeze them in time. I want to make those special moments a work of art that we can gaze at and treasure forever! A whimsical dream captured by one single click.
